ell were did August go to? I had major turmoil at home with both Jill, my wife, and I being made redundant from our permanent full time jobs. Both of us have now set up our own company and we have spent most of August looking for some contracts. Thankfully, for the cobras sake we both now have contracts and the future is more secure.

1st September

I had a phone call from Dave at Autobrass tonight to say that my windscreen had been made and was ready for despatch. He said he would fax me an invoice and as soon as I had paid it he would despatch the screen. I would have liked to go and fetch the item but Dave was busy for the next two weekends so it would have been three weeks away before I could have made the trip. I really wanted to get started again on the car after I'd not spent any time on the car in August.

I also ordered the front and rear overiders and nudge bars from Dave, which were in stock so these are also being despatched. So at least I've got a few things to bolt onto the car now. Plus it's a good excuse to take a few more photographs.
